The world became a little less wise when legendary investor Charlie Munger passed away recently. By the time he reached 99 years old, Munger said some incredibly insightful things, making him a fan favorite for those who admire sound thinking, a contrarian view of the world, and a provocative way of expressing it.
I know almost nothing about the late Mr. Munger. Sounds like he had some sense and drive though. Good for him. I have read a bit on Mr. Buffett. He is certainly controversial. I don't think we'd get along. Anyways, I believe calculated risks are smart and honorable to take in life and business. It's equally important we aren't gambling though.
