Thank you for sharing this informative post. I had no idea how Edison was able to accomplish so much and how great of a leader he was. I've always seen him as that lone inventor. My only real insight was his famous quotes concerning how many failures he had before a success. People who share a common direction and sense of community can get where they are going quicker and easier because they are traveling on the trust of each other. Obviously, he created a sense of trust and mutual admiration.
I love that as a heuristical question all leaders should ask themselves: how much does our team laugh together? How much do they have fun together?
I’ve long said that the team that can laugh together can work together. There’s a great book on the topic called “Humpr, Seriously.”
