Today’s post reminds me of the book, The Goal. In it, the author talks about the theory of constraints. Your process can only be as quick as your slowest Lego. Remove it or improve it and everything else gets better too.

Love that scout/hike analogy in that book. It comes to mind often.

I'm glad you brought that up. It was such a great analogy to bring the idea home. We used to use the same strategy back in the day when I rode motorcycles. We'd put the newest and least experience riders up front so that the whole group would stay together on longer rides.
