So very true. And I've been bad at fixing the problem. I know I've been horrible at this for some time - decades, actually. So now I need to focus on fixing this. For good.
Great advice, especially working in repeating the name a couple of times during the first introduction. It's a win/win strategy - you get practice saying the name to help you remember, and they get to hear you say their name - which people love. Sometimes, with some people (usually guys) I think they use name forgetting as a power move as in, I'm more important than you, so I don't have to remember your name. Anyone else experience this?
