Passion is a force multiplier for achievement. Impassioned team members do what it takes to get the job done. Results soar when passion finds its way into a team’s everyday tasks. The effect of passion is further magnified when like-minded colleagues converge around a common purpose or vision.
I recently read an article about making work feel more like play.
This feels like another similar angle to this and feels just as vital to keeping people engaged at work.
I like the idea of making work feel like play. It may not always be possible but if say half your time at work feels like play that would revolutionise engagement across your team.
One of the things that has helped me is realising I don’t need to do this. I could pop off and get another job and it would all be fine. Sometimes, it helps to apply for another job every now and then just show yourself that you can do it.
This needs to be the focus in 2023. Bring the intensity and passion baby!
