Just make sure that your sour apple isn't rotten. If it is, it's probably nobody's fault. They most likely came in the bunch that way. No amount of feedback, support, or care will turn a rotten apple into a good one. You've got to remove it from the bunch, entirely.

This article demonstrates the principles of social proof. What becomes normalised then becomes trusted and embodied. Combatting this is a cultural dilemma. Pointing out the issues, only normalise them further. The language and narrative to navigate around the 'bad apple' is a critical element, which does need strategy! Positive influencers/champions are one way of creating a new 'normal'.
