Good morning,

Some solid points.

In my experience, managers do judge off of successful implementation. They may appreciate the proactivity. They usually won't allow you to continue with the tasks unless they see successful execution.

Follow your orders.

Use your creativity on extracurricular activities. IF you ever get to the higher ranks, that's when you can structure your team how you like (to the confines of the organization), and maybe operate with a significant amount of autonomy.

Thank you for your time.

I love the proactive empowerment! I recently spoke to some leaders and one asked about how to get his team to take initiative on some things, and this would be a PERFECT practice to employ. If you have boundaries that have been earned, you can further encourage proactivity in those areas. It could lead to more efficiency and less bottlenecks in information or direction. Rewarding the behaviors you want to see will result in more of the same.
